The coefficient of performance (COP) measures how efficiently a heat pump transfers heat from the air to the pool water. A higher COP results in reduced operating costs. AHRI certification ensures that the unit’s performance has been independently tested and validated.
NIRVANA recommends the use of a solar cover, liquid or conventional, especially in colder weather, to improve energy efficiency.
