How it works :

PURIFITEC automatically diffuses copper ions into the water, controlling algae and complementing the action of chlorine.
Easy adjustment via a 9-position control box, adjusting ionization power as required.
Full activation time: 8 to 10 days to reach optimum copper concentration of 0.2 to 0.4 ppm.

Maintenance :

Recommended parameters: pH: 7.2 – 7.6. Copper: 0.2 – 0.4 ppm. Total alkalinity: 80 – 120 ppm. Free chlorine: 1 – 3 ppm.
Electrode cleaning: To be carried out when necessary to remove oxidation or deposits.
Winterization: Disconnect and store the unit in a frost-protected area.

Warranty - Canada

The PURIFITEC water treatment system carries a 3-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects. In the event of a defect, the unit will be repaired or replaced free of charge at our head office within the warranty period. This warranty is effective from the date of purchase and can only be applied with the original proof of purchase. This warranty is non-transferable and does not cover electrodes. The warranty does not cover damage caused by lightning, breakage, improper installation, freezing or lack of maintenance. It does not apply to stains on the walls or bottom of the pool caused by lack of maintenance.
